Throughout his career, which has spanned national governments, CEOs, and elite sports organizations, he has shaped the narratives of high-profile names in the sports & entertainment industry.
As Director of Corporate Communications at the Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI) for nine years, under the Presidencies of HRH Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein and Ingmar De Vos, Richard helped redefined the FEI’s global presence, launching award-winning campaigns like Two Hearts—which expanded equestrian sport into key markets worldwide. He built the FEI’s digital platforms from the ground up, spearheaded major event communications, and created the prestigious FEI Awards, a legacy that continues to inspire equestrian excellence.
His expertise extends beyond sport. From leading media for The Children's Society—where he partnered with Manchester United FC—to securing global sponsorships and advising on high-profile & personal projects for HRH Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein as Director of Sport and Youth in Dubai and the UK, Richard’s career has been defined by influence, creativity, and impact.
Renowned for his adaptability and vision, he has produced Royal and celebrity galas, Hollywood film premieres, photographic exhibitions, Olympic Fan Zones, and five award-winning gardens at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show. Even the West End stage has seen his talents!
